Assembly Machines for Cylinder Heads / Engine Blocks
AMT assembly machines are used for the following assembly operations on cylinder heads and engine blocks for passenger cars and freight vehicles.
Typical assembly operations on cylinder heads are:
- press valve seat rings and guides, with or without nitric cooling
- camshaft – bearing cap assembly
with bolt feeding and bolt tightening - stud bolt assembly
- closure part assembly (ball, cover, Koenig expander)
- leak test
Typical assembly operations on engine blocks are:
- crankshaft – bearing cap assembly
with bolt feeding and bolt tightening - closure part assembly
- leak test
Using a variety of machine designs, including transfer lines or flexible manufacturing systems, we are able to achieve cycle times from several minutes up to 16 seconds.
