Assembly Systems for Engine Block Assembly
AMT realises small assembly systems for the engine block and cylinder head, designed as rack assembly or as assembly line. AMT is capable of handling the complete rang of assembly tasks, from the raw engine block to the cylinder head to complete engine assembly.
Based on customer requirements, systems can be designed and manufactured as individual assembly stations or as assembly lines with data capture and data processing, including necessary nutrunner technology.
- Preparation of parts to be assembled, e.g. in KANBAN system
- Preassembly stations for subassemblies
- Assembly stations for valve wedges on cylinder head, friction measurements, and piston extension measurements
- Assembly lines for engine assembly, including nutrunner technology
- Data capture and archiving systems
Based on customer demands and required cycle time, the assembly machines are configured as manual, semi-automatic, or automatic stations.
