Our customers continue to demand more flexible con rod automation in order to be able to handle a broad variety of con rod models on a single production line.
For this reason, AMT has developed a pallet-based transport solution which incorporates the use of gantry loaders.
Either circulating conveyors or pallet conveyors are used as transfer systems. The transfer pallets are designed so that vastly different con rod types can be transferred without requiring changeover. This system also offers a high backup storage capacity.
Flexible con rod automation systems have been installed by AMT globally since 2001.
