Transfer lines are often used to accommodate special tasks. For example:
- Access passages / intersections
- Rapid transfer with low backup storage capacity
- Cycle-driven systems
- As a basis for part type and position checking, using laser engraving or needle embossing
Con rods are positioned flat on AMT transfer lines and are transferred from the side.
In order to provide access to the machining center for personnel or vehicles, access passages are often required. AMT has developed special arch-formed intersections for this purpose, which are flexible so that heights and widths can be adapted to customer requirements.
