SMX30 / SMX10 – Compact Performance
The integrated PC in the SMX30 makes this control a genuine high-end product, for which practically no limits are placed on functional scope and expansion possibilities with the SMX10.
SMX30 and SMX10 are self-sufficient modules in a control system for built-in nutrunners that does not require an electrical cabinet. These control modules can be easily combined to form single- or multi-channel controls for built-in nutrunners that can be quickly customized and installed directly into an assembly work station. The elimination of the electrical cabinet saves money and simplifies installation and startup.
Each multi-channel control for built-in nutrunners consists of one SMX30, to which up to 63 SMX10 modules can be linked. The SMX30 assumes the functions of the master in this configuration by communicating with customer systems (e.g. conveyor control, host computer) and coordinating all SMX10 modules over an internal system bus.
The integrated PC offers almost unlimited communications capabilities from the SMX30 control, including Ethernet, field bus, RS232, RS485 and USB.
