SMXP – Multi-Channel
Multi-channel nutrunner controls from AMT offer synchronized, controlled nutrunning in semi- or fully automatic assembly stations, resulting in consistently reliable product quality.
Among the AMT controls systems, the SMXP is the most high-performance control. The modular system structure allows us to select all of the components which are required to create the best fit for each application. An industrial PC for the master functions, along with the nutrunner module, form the basis for the SMXP system.
The master PC coordinates the nutrunner module and provides the interface to the outside world. All torque and angle-based fastening operations can be programmed and displayed on the operator panel.
The master PC offers almost unlimited communications capabilities from the SMXP control, including Ethernet, field bus, RS232, RS485 and USB.
